Panchho Devi Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Kangra. We are over in Village Suan in the Jaisinghpur tehsil. Dr Ashok Kumar Sarial is the one who helps manage things from his place there. Kangra is a big district and Jaisinghpur has its own way of doing things. We named the company after Panchho Devi to keep that local connection alive. Our pincode is 176094 and it is a pretty typical rural area. We are just a group of farmers who live nearby and work together. Most of our time is spent out in the fields rather than sitting at a desk. The heat can get pretty intense in this part of Kangra during the summer months so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us talking to our neighbors and figuring out how to get things to market. The paperwork is something we do in the evenings when the sun goes down. It is a slow process building something like this but we are taking it one day at a time. Every season brings a different set of problems but we just deal with them as they come. It is just local people trying to make a living off the land we have. There is nothing very fancy about it.
