Mayoor65 Traditional Basmati Rice

We are down in 2427, Vpo Pand, Gagret. It’s in the Amb Tehsil of Una district. We focus on Mayoor65 Traditional Basmati Rice that people have been eating for years. Our place is a big storehouse mostly. The smell of the rice is everywhere when you walk in. It’s a heavy smell, especially when we are moving the big bags around. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning. We just have a fan and a couple of stools. Most of the work is manual—lifting, sorting, and checking the quality of the grains. We get the rice from the local fields and process it here. It’s dusty work and our clothes are always covered in husk. We don’t do any big TV ads or anything. We just sell to the people who know what good rice looks like. The road to Gagret is usually busy, so we see a lot of trucks. We spend our evenings checking the inventory for the next day. It’s a simple business run by people who grew up here in Una. We don't have a fancy mission. We just want to get the rice out to the shops. It’s hard on the back, but it’s what we do.
