Moon Restaurant

You can find us over at the Hotel Moon on National Highway 21. Moon Restaurant has been part of this spot for a while, right at the 9 Miles Rasta in Basta. It is a handy location for people driving through Himachal or headed towards Mandi. We actually serve folks from Mandi too, which keeps us pretty busy. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different faces every single day. Some people are just passing through and others live right nearby in Sangrur. It is not a very formal place. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the tables are clean for the next person who walks in. The address 148001 is where we spend most of our waking hours. We do not go for fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a regular restaurant attached to a hotel. Sometimes the traffic on the highway gets loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. It is honest work. We do not have some big mission statement. We just like seeing people eat and then go on their way feeling a bit better. If you are on the road and see our sign, feel free to stop in. We will be here doing the same thing we do every day.
