Comfort Restaurant

We are located inside the Comfort Stay Hotel, which is right in Ner Chowk, Mandi. You can find us right across from the State Bank of Patiala. It’s a handy spot for people traveling through the mountains or stopping on their way to Manali. The restaurant isn't huge, but we have enough tables for the hotel guests and the locals who stop in. We focus on simple food that tastes like home. It’s mostly North Indian dishes that we know how to make well. There are no fancy decorations or soft music playing. Usually, you’ll just hear the sounds of the kitchen and people talking about their road trips. The windows look out onto the main road, so you can watch the traffic while you eat your dal and roti. We open early for breakfast because a lot of people want to get on the road before the traffic gets bad. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it's a busy weekend, but we always have something hot ready. The staff is just a few local people who have been working here for years. We don't use any pre-packaged stuff if we can help it; we just cook what people like to eat. It is a reliable place for a meal when you are tired of driving and just want to sit down for a bit. It is just honest food in a busy little town.
