Atithi AC Restaurant

Our restaurant is located right on NH-21 in the Jarol area, near the Telephone Exchange. We are part of the Sundernagar tehsil in Mandi. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people traveling through Himachal Pradesh. Atithi AC Restaurant is a place where drivers and families can stop for a bit while they are on the road. The air conditioning is something we make sure stays running because the climb up the hills or the drive down can get tiring. We've been at this spot in 175048 for some time. It is not a fancy stop, just a plain building where we serve food and let people rest. Running a place on a national highway like NH-21 is different from a city restaurant. You never know who is going to walk through the door. We spend our time in the kitchen or checking on the dining area. We don't have any polished advertisements or a social media person. It’s just us and a few local workers from the Jarol area. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or supply trucks being delayed by the mountain roads. It is a practical business. We don't use flowery language to describe what we do. We just provide a place to sit and eat for those passing through Mandi. It’s hard work, especially during the tourist season, but we just take it one day at a time and keep the kitchen going.
