Seventhday Matric Hr Sec School has been a part of the Chinna Chokkikulam neighborhood for a long time. Our address is at No 32 on H A K Road, which is a fairly central spot in Madurai. Most people around here just call us by our short name. We have different levels of classes, going from the younger kids all the way up to the higher secondary years. The building is older and has that lived-in feel, with plenty of marks on the walls from years of students passing through. We handle a lot of students every day, so things can get a bit hectic in the mornings and when the final bell rings at the end of the day. Our staff is a mix of older teachers who have been here forever and some newer ones just starting out. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we make sure the textbooks are covered and the blackboards are clean. Living and working in Madurai 625002 means we are used to the heat and the busy streets outside our gate. We use P O Box 100 for our mail, but mostly people just walk in if they need to talk to someone. It's a straightforward place. We focus on the syllabus and getting through the school year without too much trouble. It's just a regular part of life here on H A K Road for us and the families who trust us with their children's education. We just do the work.
