K.K.G.Matriculation School

Down on Saptur Road in Peraiyur, you’ll find our school. It’s a bit out of the main Madurai city, which gives it a different feel. The school is located in K.K.G. Nagar, and it’s a place that most families in this area are familiar with. We have a lot of students coming in from the nearby villages and the town itself. The mornings are usually quite busy with the buses and parents dropping off their children before heading to work. It’s a matriculation school, so we keep busy with the standard curriculum and all the paperwork that comes with it. The building is functional, nothing too special to look at, but it has plenty of rooms for all the different grades. We have a playground where the kids get a lot of dust on their shoes, but they don't seem to mind. The teachers here are practical people who have been working in education for a long time. We spend our days teaching math, science, and languages, and then we spend our evenings grading. It’s a simple life here in Peraiyur. We don't have a lot of the fancy technology you might find in the big cities, but we get the teaching done. The school is a hub for the community, and we see the same families year after year. It’s just a regular place where we try to help the kids get through their school years and prepare for whatever is next.
