Om Sadhana Central School

If you’re driving down Theni Main Road towards Virattipathu, you’ll see us over in Tpm Nagar. Om Sadhana Central School is basically right there where all the traffic moves through Madurai. It’s a pretty lively area, and the school is no different once the morning bell rings. We have children running around from the early hours until the afternoon. The building itself is just a regular school setup with classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to move. We don’t have those massive fancy lawns, but we make do with what we have. Most of the staff here have been around for a long time. We know the local families because their kids have been coming here for years. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to keep things moving along. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but nobody really minds. We follow the usual books and lessons that every other school around here does. There’s always someone at the gate checking who is coming in. Parents usually stand outside chatting while they wait for the buses. It’s just a normal day-to-day thing for us. We deal with lost water bottles and messy notebooks every single day. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, especially during lunch breaks, but that’s just how a school in Madurai is. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place for local kids to study.
