We are situated at No 24/33 on Mahal 4th Street in Madurai. If you know this area, you know it is very close to the old heart of the city. The streets around here are narrow and full of life, with shops and houses all tucked together. The school fits right into that landscape. It is a local place where the neighborhood kids come to study. Our building is an older one, and it has that solid, lived-in feel to it. You will not find anything overly modern here, just the things needed for a school to run. We have our classrooms and a small area where kids gather. The teachers are mostly local people who have been with us for quite a while. We follow the usual school calendar and keep things pretty steady. In the afternoons, when school lets out, the street gets really busy with cycles and parents waiting. It can be a bit chaotic, but it is a good kind of energy. Inside, we just try to keep the kids focused on their lessons. We do not have a lot of extra staff, so everyone chips in with the daily chores. It is a very hands-on environment. We deal with the heat of Madurai and the dust from the road, but we keep the fans going and the doors open. It is just how we operate here. There is always something to do, but we manage.
