Delhi Public World School

Out here in Paravai, near Madurai, things are a bit more spread out than in the city center. Delhi Public World School is situated in Mangayarkarasi Nagar, specifically at the new learning center. It’s a newer part of the area, and we have been watching the neighborhood grow around us. 71139 is the number on our gate, though most people just look for the signs when they get to this part of Madurai. The school is quite large, which is helpful because we get students from all the nearby blocks. We spend our days managing the classrooms and making sure the grounds are kept up. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different sections of the building. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish here; it’s more about the teachers and the kids getting through their daily schedules. The sun can be quite strong in Paravai, so we are glad for the shade the building provides during the middle of the day. We have been working hard to make this a place where kids can just come and learn without any fuss. It’s a practical environment. We don’t use a lot of flowery language about what we do. We just open the gates in the morning and close them at night once everyone has gone home. It’s a steady job in a growing part of town, and we are just happy to be the ones running the place for the local families. It takes a lot of effort from every teacher here.
