Panchayat Union Middle School

It’s a regular morning here at Panchayat Union Middle School. We’re located right on Melur Thirupattur Road, so there’s usually some noise from the passing buses and bikes while classes are going on. Karaiyur is a quiet place for the most part, but this road stays busy. The school building has seen better days, though it does the job. Most of us arrive early to get the classrooms ready before the heat really kicks in. The kids come from all around the local area, walking or catching a ride. We have some desks that wobble and the paint is peeling in the hallway, but that’s just how it is. During the lunch break, you can hear everyone out in the yard. It gets dusty when the wind picks up from the open fields nearby. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized and making sure there’s enough chalk for the day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze through. It’s not a fancy setup, just a bunch of rooms where kids sit and learn their lessons. You might see some of us sitting outside on the benches during the tea break. It’s a simple routine that repeats every week. Nothing too exciting happens, just the usual school day stuff. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere.
