Navyug Senior Secondary School

Navyug Senior Secondary School is located at No 16, Gomathipuram 9th Street. To get here, you have to turn off Sivagangai Road in Madurai. It’s a bit quieter here than on the main road, which is nice for the students who are studying. Our school is a simple structure that fits right into the residential neighborhood around it. We handle the senior secondary classes, so the students are a bit older and usually more focused on their books and upcoming exams. The 625001 area is a familiar part of town for most of us who work here. Inside, the rooms are fairly large but nothing special to look at. We have rows of desks and chairs that have been used by many batches of students over the years. The walls have some charts and maps pinned up, some of them a bit faded from the sun shining through the windows. During the exam season, the whole place gets very quiet, and you can only hear the scratching of pens on paper. Otherwise, it’s just the usual school sounds throughout the day. The office staff stays busy with the registrations and fees and paperwork. We have a small area out front where people park their bikes or wait for their children. It’s a local school through and through, run by people who live nearby. There aren't any big fancy posters or decorations. It’s just a place where classes happen from Monday to Saturday until the evening when the final bell rings and everyone heads home to their families.
