You can find us at 2/436A, Vignesh Nagar 1St Street, over in the P.R.C.Nagar area of Koodal Nagar. It's tucked away in the Kovilpappkudi Extension here in Madurai. Being a senior secondary school means we have the older kids around, and things can get pretty lively between the classes. The building itself is quite straightforward. It’s a white structure with several floors and stairs that seem a bit steep when you’re carrying a stack of notebooks. We have been in this part of Madurai for some time, and the neighbors are used to the sound of the school bell by now. The street outside is usually quiet during the day, which helps the students focus a bit more on their exams and books. We don't go in for much show. The walls have some charts stuck on them and the staff room is always full of tea cups and half-graded papers. Our focus is just on getting the syllabus finished and making sure everyone knows their math and science. The local bus stops nearby, so most of the staff and students don’t have much trouble getting here in the morning. It’s a busy life, running a school like this. There is always a door that needs fixing or a lightbulb that went out. We just handle it as it comes and keep the school running for the neighborhood families who rely on us.
