Morich English Medium School

We are located right in the C3 block of Varapradha Apartments here in Andalpuram. It isn't a massive building with a big field, but it works for what we do every day. Madurai gets pretty hot, so we try to keep the classrooms as cool as we can with the fans going all the time. Most of the families around here know us because their kids walk over in the mornings. You’ll see the bags piled up near the entrance and hear the rhymes being recited if you walk past during the first hour. It is a bit noisy sometimes, especially when it is time for lunch or when the final bell rings at the end of the day. The teachers here have been around for a while and they know most of the parents by name. We don't have fancy elevators or anything like that, just the stairs and some desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend the morning working through the English lessons and making sure everyone understands the math problems on the board. Sometimes the chalk breaks or the ink runs out, but we just grab another one and keep going. It’s a busy place with a lot of energy from the children. You can find us easily enough if you are in the neighborhood near the apartment complex. It’s just a normal school where we try to get through the syllabus and make sure the kids are learning. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just the regular work of teaching.
