Hotel Velammal

Hotel Velammal is where I spend most of my time. We are at No 137 in the SMS Complex, specifically on the ground floor. The street is Chockanathan Street in Thirunagar, Madurai. Our pin code is 625006. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the Amudham Kalyana Mahal. Since it’s a wedding hall, the street gets quite busy with people and music sometimes. I’ve lived in Madurai all my life, and this part of Thirunagar is a nice community. We just go about our work and keep the place ready for guests. The ground floor location in the SMS Complex is handy because nobody has to use the stairs. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It's just a local business. Chockanathan Street is a normal street with normal shops. 625006 is the area code. I see my neighbors every morning and we talk for a bit. We don't do any big advertising. If people need a room, they find us. Opposite the Kalyana Mahal is the easiest way to describe where we are. We’ve been here for a while and it feels like home. The building is simple and the rooms are plain, but they are clean. It’s just a regular spot in Madurai for anyone passing through. We like it that way.
