Hotel Parkplaza,Chennai

Even though the name is Hotel Parkplaza, Chennai, we are actually located right here in Madurai at 49/87/6 Pandi Kovil Street. It’s in the Karuppayurani area, which is a bit away from the main city rush. People often get confused by the name, but we explain it once they arrive. Our place isn’t one of those five-star spots with marble floors everywhere. It’s more of a practical place for people to stay when they are visiting the temple or just passing through. We’ve got rooms that are clean and basic, which is what most folks are looking for anyway. The street outside can get pretty busy during festival times because of the temple nearby. We spend a lot of our time making sure things are running okay and the guests have what they need. It’s a lot of work keeping a hotel going, especially with the dust and the heat we get in Madurai. We don’t have a massive marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the staff, trying to keep the place tidy. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and we fix it ourselves. We like the local community here in Karuppayurani. It’s a good spot to be. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the regulars who come by. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who care about their work. We stay busy and keep things moving every day.
