Freeda Hotel

Freeda Hotel is located at No 734 on Chinna Kadai Street in Sholavandan, which is just outside Madurai. We are very close to the Kamarajar Flyover, so you can see the traffic moving overhead all day long. This isn't a big luxury hotel; it's more of a local spot where people come for a place to stay or a quick meal. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the local market or heading towards the main road. We keep things very simple here. The rooms are basic, and we spend a lot of our time making sure everything is washed and ready for the next guest. In the mornings, we are up before the sun to start the coffee and get the front area swept. Sholavandan can get very hot, so we rely on the fans to keep the air moving. We’ve been at this spot for some years now and have gotten to know the regular travelers who pass through Madurai. Most of our guests are people on business or families visiting relatives nearby. The building itself is easy to spot once you get near the flyover. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the front desk. It’s a quiet life most of the time, apart from the noise of the buses on the bridge.
