Hotel Sekar

Hotel Sekar is sitting right on the Trichy Main Road in Melur. We are out here in the Madurai district, right where the highway traffic passes through all day and night. It’s a very practical location for drivers and travelers heading towards Trichy or coming into Madurai. The building has been here for a while, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years as more cars started appearing. Melur is a busy town, and our spot on the main road means there’s always something happening outside the door. We don’t have any fancy bells or whistles here. It’s just a straightforward hotel with rooms for people who are tired of driving and need a break. You can find us easily because of the 625106 pincode area being quite central to the town’s layout. We usually have a mix of local travelers and people from out of state stopping by. The staff here mostly speaks the local language, but we manage to communicate with everyone. It's a bit of a dusty spot sometimes because of the highway being so close, but that’s expected. We just focus on keeping the place open and making sure the water is running. It's a simple life running a hotel on a main road like this, but we've gotten used to it.
