Hotel Petchis

Hotel Petchis sits on Melakkal Main Road in Kochadai. If you know the Madurai area, we are basically right across from Fenner and TVS. It’s a busy industrial part of 625016. The road gets a lot of heavy vehicles and people heading to work at the nearby factories. We’ve been at No 41 for a good while now. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, that’s for sure. Most people who come here are in town for work or visiting someone at the nearby businesses. We have a small crew that handles everything from the cleaning to the paperwork. We don't have fancy decorations or a lobby that looks like a museum. It’s a functional building with rooms that get used a lot. We spend our time fixing little things that break and making sure the water is running. Madurai can get incredibly hot, so that's always something we're thinking about. The guests usually leave early in the morning and come back tired in the evening. We see a lot of the same delivery trucks going past the front door every day. It’s just a normal life here. We don't put out big ads or anything. People find us because of the location or they hear about us from someone else. It’s just Hotel Petchis, sitting there on the main road in Kochadai, doing the same thing every day for whoever needs a room.
