Hotel Grand Krishna

Hotel Grand Krishna sits at No 59 A on TPK Main Road in the Palanganatham area of Madurai. We are directly opposite the Kumaragam Temple, so you can imagine the kind of atmosphere we have here. There is often the sound of temple bells or people gathered for prayers, which gives the whole street a certain feeling. The pincode is 625003. Madurai is a hot place, and TPK Main Road gets a lot of sun and a lot of traffic. We are just a local business trying to get by. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just run the hotel day by day. People come to visit the temple or for business in Palanganatham and they stay with us. It’s a plain building and we keep it as honest as we can. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but that’s Madurai for you. We spend our time fixing little things around the place and talking to the regulars. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We’ve been here long enough that the temple priests know us and we know the tea sellers on the corner. It’s just a standard place to stay if you’re in this part of town. No fluff, no big promises, just rooms on a busy road. We just try to make sure there is enough water and the fans are working right.
