Hotel Impala

You can find us at No 2 A1 on GST Road in the Thirunagar area of Madurai. We are right across from the Devi Kalaivani Theater, so there is usually some activity nearby when a big movie is playing. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing through at all hours. We have been running Hotel Impala for quite some time now. It’s just a local spot for people. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to do fancy advertising for us. Most of our guests find us because they are driving by or they live in the area and need a place for their relatives to stay. We spend our days making sure the floors are mopped and the books are right. It is a lot of routine stuff that keeps the place going. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud, but that is just part of being in Madurai. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, and we all just pitch in where it’s needed. If the gate needs a bit of paint, we paint it. If a guest has a question about the local bus times, we try to help them out. We don't use any corporate talk here. We just provide a place to sleep and try to keep things running smoothly for everyone.
