Attharva Montessory Play School

We’re based at No 15 in Jainagar, specifically in the Subhashini Nagar 2nd North area of Surya Nagar, Madurai. Since this is a Montessori play school, the setup inside is a bit different. We have a lot of low shelves with wooden toys so the kids can reach them without help. The floor is often covered with rugs and mats because the little ones spend a lot of time down there. Scattered around the room are small chairs and tables. During the morning hours, the little outdoor space with a slide gets very busy. The walls are decorated with drawings the children have made, which aren't always perfectly straight or tidy. At the entrance, we have a small shoe rack where all the tiny sandals are kept in rows. Because we are a hands-on place, things can get a bit messy with paint or playdough. Most of the time, our staff are busy guiding the children or helping with snacks. It’s not a place of strict silence; there’s a constant hum of kids talking or playing together. While we try to keep the atmosphere calm, that’s always a challenge with toddlers. It’s a simple, local spot where the focus is just on letting the kids explore. People know us for being a practical neighborhood place. We don't use much fancy equipment, just the stuff that works for the kids every day.
