Yum Factory

Yum Factory is located at 7a-8a on Malhar Road in the Sarabha Nagar area of Ludhiana. We decided to open up here because this part of town is always lively. We aren't a big factory or anything like the name might suggest; it’s just a name we picked because it sounded catchy at the time. We do a lot of different foods. Some days it’s busier than others, especially on weekends when everyone is out on Malhar Road. The space inside is decent, though we sometimes wish we had a bit more room for the kitchen gear. We don't have a fancy interior designer. We just put up some tables and chairs where they fit best. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so it’s a local crew. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and prepping for the next day. It’s a lot of work running a food place in Sarabha Nagar because people have plenty of choices around here. We just try to keep our heads down and do the cooking. We don't do much advertising; we just hope the food we put on the plates is enough for people to come back. Sometimes we get the orders out fast, sometimes it takes a bit longer if the stove is being moody. It’s just a normal business trying to get through the week. We’ve been in Ludhiana for a bit now and we like the neighborhood. We hope to see you around.
