Verma Time Telecom

Verma Time Telecom is located on Chandigarh Road in the Punjab Colony area. We have a bit of a mix here because we started out with watches and then added mobile services as things changed. So, you’ll see some old-fashioned clocks on the wall right next to the latest smartphone accessories. It makes for an interesting shop floor. Being on Chandigarh Road means we get a lot of people passing through, not just locals from Punjab Colony. We spend our time changing watch batteries, fixing straps, and also dealing with mobile recharges and screen repairs. It’s a lot of small, fiddly work, which requires a bit of patience. The shop has been in the family for some time, and we like the location even if the road gets really congested during rush hour. We have a few glass display cases that hold the watches, and another section for the telecom side of things. It’s not a high-tech looking place; it’s more of a traditional corner shop feel where you can have a chat while your watch is being timed or your phone is being updated. We don’t really do any big advertising, people just know we are here on the main road. Sometimes it’s quiet, and I can catch up on some of the trickier repairs, but usually, someone is walking in with a question about their bill or a broken glass. It’s just a steady, everyday business.
