P.K. Electronics

You can find P.K. Electronics at shop no-9 in the Mata Mandir Market, which is inside Mochpura Bazar on Mata Rani Road. It is a very tight spot in a very crowded bazaar. We have wires, bulbs, and circuit components everywhere you look on the shelves. The shop is small and we have to stack things carefully so they don't fall over when we walk around. We spend most of our time at the back bench with a soldering iron in hand. People bring in their old radios, fans, or televisions hoping we can make them work again for a few more years. The bazaar is so narrow that you can barely fit a scooter through it sometimes during the day. We hear the temple bells from the Mata Mandir nearby throughout the day while we work. It’s a lot of manual work and our eyes get tired from looking at small parts under the desk light. We don't have a lot of space for customers to stand, so they usually wait out in the alleyway talking to each other. We have been here for years and we know all the other shopkeepers in the market. We don't do any big advertising; people just know we are at shop number nine. Sometimes we run out of a specific fuse or wire and have to run to another shop to borrow one. It is just a simple electronic repair shop.
