Vajrang Decor

Vajrang Decor is situated on NM Joshi Marg, right in the Civil Line area. It's a place where we keep a lot of different things for houses and apartments. We have various fabrics, some rolls of wallpaper, and stuff for windows like curtains. It isn't a massive showroom like the ones you see in the city center with fancy lights, but we have enough here to keep people busy looking through the books for an hour. I’ve worked here for a few years now. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit so many different samples into the shelves. Sometimes the dust gets on the fabric rolls and we have to spend the morning cleaning everything off before the first person arrives. It's a lot of manual work, lifting heavy rolls and showing them to customers who want to see how they look in the light. Most people who come in aren't quite sure what they want, so we end up chatting about their homes for a long time. It’s nice to hear how someone’s place looks after they finally finish a big project. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or pressure people here. We just show you what we have in stock. If we don't have it, we try our best to find it. The street outside can get quite congested in the evenings, so parking your bike is always a bit of a gamble. I usually just walk to work anyway. It’s a simple business, really. We just like seeing things look a bit nicer.
