United Rice Mills

You will find United Rice Mills in Village Sangowal. We are located near the Bapu Assaram Ashram, which is a place many people visit, so the road usually has some traffic on it. Our mill is a straightforward operation. We have been here for a good number of years, and the building has seen better days, but it still does the job it was built for. Inside, the noise of the hullers and polishers is quite loud, so we have to shout a bit to hear each other when the machines are running. We process a lot of rice for the surrounding areas. The people in Sangowal are hard-working, and most of our staff comes from the nearby houses. We don't spend money on fancy offices or polished decorations. Everything we have is practical and meant for the work at hand. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess with all the mud, but we just throw down some husks and keep going. We have a regular schedule that we follow, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with the grain is a dirty job, and we all go home with dust on our clothes, but that is just part of being in the rice business. We take things as they come and try to keep the mill running smoothly every single day.
