Sukhwant Communication is out near the Jaldhar Bye Pass, specifically in the Ashwabhumi Industrial Estate 3. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. Most of our customers are the people who work in the nearby units. They come to us for recharges, new SIM cards, or when their phones get damaged during their shifts. It’s a different vibe out here compared to the city center. It’s more about trucks and heavy machinery. Our shop is just a simple space where we can sit and do our work. We’ve got a couple of chairs and a counter with the latest accessories on display. The dust from the bye-pass can be quite bad, so we’re always cleaning the glass. We don't have any fancy marketing plans; we just rely on being the convenient spot for the workers nearby. Usually, it’s busiest during the lunch break or right after the factory whistles blow at the end of the day. We know a lot of the supervisors and laborers by name now. It’s a practical kind of business. We just provide the connection they need to call home or use their data. It’s not a glamorous location, but there’s plenty of work to keep us busy from morning until evening. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in and ask for help.
