Sood Telecom

Down in Surat, specifically in the Salem Tabri area near Jahangirpura, we’ve got our little shop at number 328. Sood Telecom has been around for a bit now, mostly just handling the daily needs of the people passing through. It’s a hectic part of town, and the noise from the street never really stops until very late at night. We have shelves lined with chargers, basic handsets, and those colorful phone covers that everyone seems to want. The shop isn't very large, so we have to keep things stacked high. Most days, it’s just me and a helper managing the customers who come in for recharge coupons or to fix a charging port that’s gone loose. We have a small stool for people to sit on while we check their devices, but it usually ends up being a spot for people to dump their bags. The air feels thick sometimes because of the traffic outside, but we keep a small cooler running in the corner. We get all kinds of people here, from workers heading to their shifts to students looking for a deal. It’s a lot of the same conversations every day about signal strength and battery life. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights, just the usual tube lights that buzz a bit. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us and the people who live around here in Surat. When it's time to close, we just pull down the shutter and head home.
