Our office is tucked away in Firoze Gandhi Market over at Matruchaya Jadakhadi. It’s a busy area and there is always someone coming or going. We deal with marketing and distribution, so the day is mostly full of phone calls and checking on orders that are coming in or going out. The desks are usually covered in papers and ledgers because things move fast here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of setup, and you can tell by the way we talk to each other. Sometimes the tea arrives late and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. We don't have any corporate decorators; the furniture is old but it works just fine. Dealing with different products means we are always learning about something new that people need. The market outside is loud and crowded, especially during the peak hours, but we are used to the noise by now. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the stock is where it needs to be. It isn't always smooth, and sometimes trucks get delayed or paperwork goes missing, but we just sort it out as we go. It’s just a regular marketing office doing what needs to get done every day.
