Singh Syndicate is right here on Dhuri Line. It's been our spot for quite some time now. We deal with various bits and pieces that people in this area need for their daily work. It’s a busy part of town, always something moving or someone looking for a specific part. We don't really do the whole big advertising thing. Most people find us because their neighbor or a friend told them we had what they were looking for. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the location near the tracks, but we keep the stock organized enough to find things. It’s mostly hardware and industrial supplies. I spend most of my day behind the counter or moving crates in the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get here, but that’s just how Dhuri Line is. We open early because that's when the work starts around here. If you need something specific and we don't have it, we usually know who does. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a family-run kind of thing, nothing corporate about it. We just provide what’s needed and try to be fair about it. Every day is different, though the routine stays the same. If you’re around the tracks, you’re close to us. Just look for the sign near the bend. We are just simple people running a simple trade.
