Singh Prabhpreet Architect

We are over at 36-E in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, right off Pakhowal Road. If you know the area, you know the traffic can be a bit much during rush hour, but once you get inside the building, it's fairly calm. The office is a decent size for what we do. I’ve always liked being on this side of town because it’s where a lot of the new construction is happening. We spend most of our time staring at screens or sketching out ideas for clients. It’s a lot of back and forth with the site guys and the contractors. I try to keep things organized, but there are always stacks of blueprints everywhere. That’s just how an architect’s office looks, I guess. We get all sorts of people coming through the door. Some have a very clear vision, others are just starting out and need a bit of guidance on what’s even possible with their space. Pakhowal Road is a busy spot, so there’s always something going on outside. I like the energy of it. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just standard architectural work and trying to get the details right. It’s a lot of sitting and drawing, then going out to sites to see how things are actually looking on the ground. It keeps us busy. Most days we are here until the streetlights come on, just trying to wrap up one more drawing before heading home.
