I have been working as an architect from my place at 217-L in Model Town for several years now. Model Town is a great place to be because of the variety of houses and the long history of the buildings in this part of town. My work is mostly focused on residential projects, helping people turn their ideas into something they can actually live in. It is not always easy. Sometimes the site is awkward or the budget is very tight, but that is where the actual work happens. I do not have a big corporate office with a sign out front. It is just a comfortable space where I can focus on my drawings and meet with people to discuss their plans. I like to keep things relaxed. We sit down, look at the plot size, and talk about what is actually possible. I do all the technical drawings and handle the paperwork for the local authorities, which can be a bit of a headache, but it is part of the job. I am often out visiting sites to check on the progress of a build. I think it is important to be there in person to catch any mistakes before they become permanent. I am just a local architect trying to help my neighbors build better homes. It is a simple goal, and I enjoy the process of seeing a project through.
