Singh Navneet Architect

I’m Singh Navneet and I work as an architect out of my place at D-243 in South City. It’s a quiet part of the neighborhood, which is great when I need to concentrate on complicated drawings. The office is basically a room I’ve set up with everything I need—tables, lamps, and way too many books on building design. South City is a nice area to be in. It feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. I spend most of my day at the computer or sketching things out by hand. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception area. Usually, if someone comes by, they just knock on the door and I let them in. We talk over the plans at a small table in the corner. I’ve been doing this for several years and have handled all sorts of projects, from small house renovations to bigger commercial stuff. It’s just me and the work. Sometimes I get help on bigger jobs, but mostly it’s a solo operation. I like the independence of it. The walk to the local market is short, so I go there for lunch sometimes. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. I try to keep my projects practical and within whatever budget people give me. Nothing too complicated, just good solid work from a local office. My plants on the windowsill are the only other things here that need my attention. I try to water them every Monday if I remember.
