Singh Khushwant Architect

You can find me, Singh Khushwant, over at 218-R in Model Town. I’ve set up my architecture office here because it’s a central location and easy for people to drop by. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's mostly full of rolls of paper, pens, and a couple of computers that have seen a lot of use. Model Town is a busy area, but our street stays relatively calm. I spend my hours sketching out ideas and trying to make sense of what people want for their homes or shops. It’s a lot of back and forth, making changes and checking the details. I don’t use a lot of big words or fancy presentations. I just show people the drawings and explain how the building will actually work. Sometimes I’m out on a site getting my shoes dirty, and other times I’m stuck here doing the taxes or answering emails. It’s the usual mix for a small business. We don't have a big team, so I handle most things myself. It keeps me on my toes. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most important piece of equipment I own. I’ve been in this spot for several years now and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a good place to be. I usually keep some extra pencils handy because they always seem to go missing when I need them most. Life here is busy, but I wouldn't change it much.
