About Sharma Richa Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Ludhiana
I’ve been working out of this space at 155-E in Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar for a while now. It’s a decent spot, tucked away enough to get some real thinking done but still part of the local community. My desk is usually covered in rolls of paper and pencils that need sharpening, which I guess is typical for an architect’s office. I spend most of my time here at Sharma Richa Architect looking over plans or trying to figure out how to make a tricky corner work in a design. It isn't a huge team here, mostly just me and sometimes a bit of help when things get really backed up during the busier months. People from around the neighborhood stop in sometimes just to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof, and I don't mind that at all. It’s nice being part of the area. The lighting in the office is okay, though I wish the windows were a bit bigger on those dark, cloudy days. I don’t really go in for those flashy presentations you see on TV. I’d rather just sit down with a client, show them what I’m thinking on a piece of paper, and go from there. Working in Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar feels right because it’s a place where people actually live and build things. It’s a simple setup, but it’s where all the work gets done, day in and day out.
