If you’re looking for Robin Food Specialities, we’re at Shop No.1 on Gill Road. We are right opposite the water tank and near the cycle market, so it’s easy to find us if you use those as landmarks. The shop isn't huge, but it's got everything we need. Being near the cycle market means there's always people moving around and it gets pretty loud outside. We don’t mind the noise much. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling the stock and making sure things are where they should be. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or lighting. It’s a food business, so we mostly care about the products being right and getting them out. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow. It’s a simple life, really. We get the shipments in, we sort them out, and we wait for the customers. There’s no big strategy or corporate ladder here. It’s just a local shop trying to stay busy. Some days are better than others, depending on the traffic on Gill Road. We don’t use any complicated systems, just a notebook and a pen for the most part. It works for us and has for years. We’re just regular folks running a regular shop near the tank. We just keep the shelves full and the door open for whoever walks in next.
