If you head down Gill Road and find your way toward Bachi Hor Nagar, you’ll eventually see our spot at 26, Street Number 1 A. We’re right opposite the GNDC college, so there is always a lot of noise and students hanging around the area. Being an architect like Ravinder Singh here means dealing with a lot of local stuff that doesn’t always show up in the textbooks. The office is tucked away, and honestly, it’s a bit of a mess most days. We have stacks of blueprints on the tables and samples of tiles that people have forgotten to pick up for months. It’s not a shiny corporate environment at all. We just show up, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever project is sitting on the desk. Sometimes it’s a small shop renovation and other times it’s a house for someone who has saved up for years. We spend a lot of time on site too, getting our shoes dirty and making sure the masons aren't putting a window in the wrong place. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication, and things don't always go exactly as planned on the first try. That’s just the reality of building things in a busy part of town. We don't have any fancy secretaries or a lounge for waiting. If you come in, you just pull up a chair and we talk about your project directly.
