Punjab Communications

Lamington Road is always busy. People come and go constantly. I started this shop here in Model Town a while back. It is just a small space at 163. Every morning I open up the shutters around nine or ten depending on the traffic. We deal with all sorts of phone issues. Sometimes it is a cracked screen or just a battery that won't hold a charge anymore. You see a lot of different people in this part of town. Some are in a hurry, others just want to chat while their phone gets fixed. It gets loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. We keep things simple. If a phone is broken, we look at it. If we can fix it, we do. We have some accessories on the wall, mostly chargers and cables that people lose all the time. It is not fancy here. There is a wooden counter and a couple of stools for customers to sit on. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out. My family has lived around here for years, so we know most of the people walking by. It is just an honest day's work. We do not try to sell things people do not need. Usually, someone comes in with a problem, and we try to find a way to help them without spending too much money. That is how we have always done it at Punjab Communications. It stays busy from morning till late evening when the street finally gets quiet.
