If you’re ever near Sajjanrao Circle in Mohindra Enclave, you might see Preet Mobile Care Centre at number 3761. We’ve been fixing phones here for quite a while. It’s the kind of job that requires a lot of patience and small tools. Most of the day is spent hunched over a workbench with a magnifying glass, trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't working or replacing a screen that someone dropped on the sidewalk. It’s not glamorous work, and the shop is usually filled with the smell of solder and old electronics. Sajjanrao Circle is a busy landmark, so we get a lot of people stopping by while they’re out running errands. We try to get the repairs done as fast as we can, but some jobs are just tricky and take more time than we expect. We don’t make big promises about fixing everything in ten minutes because that’s just not realistic. We tell people how it is. If a phone is too old to be worth fixing, we’ll say so. Our customers appreciate that we don't try to pull the wool over their eyes. The shop can get a bit messy with all the spare parts lying around, but we know where everything is. Mohindra Enclave is a good neighborhood to be in, and we’ve made a lot of friends since we opened up. It’s just us doing our thing day after day.
