Onkar Communications is right by the Clock Tower on the Rampura Main Road. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so finding us isn't too hard. We’ve been here since back when people still used landlines a lot more. Now it’s all about smartphones and data packs. The noise from the main road is constant, but you get used to it after a few years. We sell SIM cards, do recharges, and help people get their phones set up. It’s a simple business. My brother and I run the place most days. We don’t have a fancy interior with air conditioning that works all the time, but we have a bench where you can sit while we work on your phone. Sometimes we just talk about the weather or how much the traffic has increased around the Clock Tower lately. It’s a local shop for local people. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been coming here for a decade. We don’t do big fancy launches or anything. We just sell what people need for their daily communication. The walls are a bit faded, and the floor could use a scrub, but it’s our place. Rampura is a busy area, and we like being in the middle of it. If you need a quick recharge or a new cable, we’re usually the easiest stop for people on their way to work. It is just us here every day, making sure everyone stays connected without any big fuss.
