We've been at New Veer Nagar for a while now. It's right across from the Ludhiana Cold Store. Most days start early with the trucks pulling up. It gets pretty busy on this street. We are over at E-10/7762. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. The building isn't fancy but it works for what we do. My uncle started this and now a few of us keep it going. We handle things here every day, making sure the orders are packed right before they head out. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. The cold store guys are friendly enough. We usually grab tea from the corner stall around eleven. It's just a regular workplace where we get our hands dirty. The floors are a bit worn out from all the moving around. We don't have a big office or anything, just some desks and a lot of space for the goods. Every evening we lock up and head home, then do it all again tomorrow. It’s quiet in the mornings before the traffic starts. We know the neighbors and they know us. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and get the work done as best as we can with what we have here. It’s been this way for years and we don’t expect it to change much.
