Glassy & Grillz

If you’re around Feroze Gandhi Market in Ludhiana, you might have seen Glassy & Grillz. We are tucked away at S.C.O. No. 4, right in the Mini Secretariat area. Most people find us by looking for the backside of Basant Ice Cream. It’s a busy part of town, always something going on with the offices nearby. We opened this place because we liked the energy of the market. It’s mostly a lunch and evening crowd here. We do a lot of grilling, hence the name. The smoke from the kitchen usually lets people know we’re open. It’s not a very formal setting. You’ll see people in their work clothes just grabbing a quick meal before heading back to the office. We have a few tables inside. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when it’s raining, but we manage. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone’s working hard. The menu is just stuff we like to eat ourselves. We don’t change it too often. My brother and I run the day-to-day things. We’ve had some of the same kitchen staff since we started. They know how we like things done. It’s a simple business, really. No big corporate backing or anything. Just us serving food in the middle of Ludhiana. If the market is crowded, just walk around the back of the ice cream shop and you’ll see us.
