Beauty Shawls

Our shop, Beauty Shawls, is right in the middle of the Woollen Market in Mochpura Bazar. If you know the Subhani Building, you can find us pretty easily. It gets very crowded here during the winter months because everyone wants something warm. We've been in this market for a long time. The shop is small and full of stacks of different shawls. Sometimes it's hard to move around because of all the stock we have. It is a family thing, really. My uncle started it and now we all help out. The market can be very noisy with all the rickshaws and people shouting. We don't have a big website or a social media person. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for customers. The light in the shop isn't the best, but you can still see the colors of the fabric. Some of the designs are ones we've had for years. People come from all over the city to this market. It is a lot of work folding everything back up at the end of the day. We try to keep things fair and simple. The Subhani Building is the main landmark to look for. It is just how things are done here in the woollen market. We don't use fancy bags or anything, just simple paper ones. It is a busy life but it keeps us going. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks in.
