Neha Telecom

Our shop, Neha Telecom, sits at number 20 on the Thanisandra Main Road, right where it meets G.T Road. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s never a quiet moment with all the cars and bikes passing by. We set up here because it seemed like a good spot to reach people on their way to work. We mostly sell recharge cards, SIM cards, and do small repairs on mobile phones. The shop isn't very large, just enough space for a counter and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. We have some shelves with accessories like headphones and screen protectors. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for our sales; we just write everything down in a big notebook we keep under the desk. Sometimes the power cuts out, and we have to use a battery light to see what we’re doing. We know most of the regulars who come in every month to pay their bills or get a new data pack. It’s nice to have those familiar faces. We don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure people get their phones back when we say we will. It’s a small, local operation, and we’re happy to keep it that way.
