Monu Mobile Service

Our shop, Monu Mobile Service, is located in Industrial Area A, right at 23-A. It’s a busy part of the city, and we are surrounded by small factories and warehouses. The shop itself is quite tiny, so we’ve had to be smart about how we use the space. We have our repair station right at the front window so we can get as much natural light as possible while we work on the small parts. There are stacks of phone boxes and old components everywhere you look. People from the nearby industries come to us because we’re right on their way to work. We don't have any fancy marketing or big banners, just a simple place where we fix what’s broken. It gets quite hot in here during the summer because the building is old, but we have a couple of fans that we keep pointed at the workspace. We mostly handle broken charging ports, smashed glass, and batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. Sometimes the work is tedious, like when you’re trying to clean out lint from a speaker for the tenth time that day. We keep a small radio playing in the background to break the silence. The street outside is always full of trucks and the sound of horns, so it’s never really quiet. We open up early and stay until the evening shift workers are done. It’s a straightforward life, just fixing one thing at a time until the day is over and we can finally lock up.
