Mobile Craze

We opened up Mobile Craze on Dhuri Line Kogilu Main Road because there are always people around Maruthi Nagar looking for something for their phones. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep a bit of everything tucked away in the drawers. You walk in and see glass cases filled with covers and screen guards. Sometimes the main road gets really loud with all the traffic, and we just turn up the radio a bit. Most of our day is spent looking at small screws or trying to figure out why a battery won’t hold a charge. It’s tedious work, but someone has to do it. The counter is usually a mess of cables and tools, but we know where everything is. People come in asking about the latest models or just wanting a cheap charger that actually works. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and we have to tell the customer to come back after tea. It’s just the way things happen when you’re dealing with electronics. We’ve seen all sorts of broken screens come through that door. Maruthi Nagar is a busy spot, so there’s never really a dull moment. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of phones on the desk.
