Mayfair Foods is at Scf 32 in the Main Market of Sarabha Nagar. We are right in the heart of the action here in Ludhiana. The market is always full of life, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to walk around. We’ve been operating out of this SCF for quite some time now. It is a busy spot and we are usually kept on our toes. We deal with food every day, so there is always cleaning or prepping to do. It isn't a glamorous job, but we enjoy it. The neighbors are other shopkeepers who have been here as long as we have. We all know each other and share the latest news about the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s just part of the deal. We keep our space simple and functional. There is no corporate manual here; we just do things the way they’ve always worked for us. Being in Sarabha Nagar means we get a lot of regular foot traffic. We see the same people every week. It makes the days go by faster when you can have a quick chat with a customer. We focus on getting the food out and making sure the place is tidy. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us. The market has its own rhythm that you only learn after being here for years. We've seen shops come and go. We just try to stay consistent with our own work every single day. We don't need anything fancy, just a good day of work.
