Mahadev Mobile Repair & Training Centre

Our shop, Mahadev Mobile Repair & Training Centre, is tucked into a corner of Jawahar Nagar 1083. It’s mostly just a few workbenches covered in tiny screws, broken screens, and soldering irons. I started out just fixing my own phones, and now I spend the whole day fixing everyone else’s devices. We deal with a lot of cracked screens and batteries that just won't hold a charge anymore. Besides the repairs, we have a small space in the back where I teach a few younger guys how to do the same kind of work. It’s good to share what you know, and there’s always a need for more repair people in this city. Jawahar Nagar is a crowded area, so there’s always people walking by, poking their heads in to ask how much a repair will cost. Sometimes I can fix a phone while they wait, but other times I have to tell them to come back tomorrow if I need to order a specific part. It’s a lot of squinting at very small parts and trying not to lose anything on the floor. My desk is usually a bit of a mess, but I generally know where everything is. We don't have a big staff, just me and a couple of helpers. It gets really busy, especially on weekends when everyone realizes their phone is broken. We just try to get the jobs done as they come in. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just keep at it.
