If you head over to Village Jhander Maha Purkhan in the Goindwal area of Tarn Taran, you’ll find us. Kursk Farmer Producer Company Limited is a local setup. We are right there in the village, which makes it easy for the local farmers to drop in whenever they need something. Tarn Taran is a busy place, but our village stays relatively calm compared to the bigger towns. The work we do is mostly about coordination and making sure the collective output of our members is handled properly. It isn't a glamorous job. Most of the time, our hands are dirty from being out in the fields or we are stressed about the rain coming too early. We don't have a polished front office with a receptionist. It is usually just one of us sitting there with a ledger or a computer, trying to keep track of everything. The people here are hardworking and don't have time for talk that doesn't lead to results. We focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep a farm business running. Whether it is seeds, tools, or selling the harvest, it all goes through this little office. We’ve been here for a bit now and people know who we are. We just want to make sure the work gets done and everyone can go home at the end of the day knowing the business is steady. We don't make big promises about the future. We just stay focused on the work that needs to be done right now.
